Steel Cut Oats with Caramelized Bananas


  • 1 cup steel cut oats

  • 1 banana, cut into quarters

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon


  1. Cook oats per package instructions

  2. While oats are cooking, add coconut oil to a small skillet, once heated, add 1 tbsp maple syrup. Slice bananas in half and then again down the middle. Add banana halves to the skillet, sprinkle with cinnamon and cook for about 2 minutes on each side, or until caramelized

  3. Once oats are done, add the banana, almond milk, granola, almond butter, chia seeds and any other toppings!⁣
